Occidental Caribe Hotel Punta Cana, Punta Cana

Staying at the hotel was a nice experience overall. The rooms were nice, especially with the ocean view, but some noise from events could be disruptive. The service was a mix of unfriendly encounters with some friendly interactions. The location was great for relaxation and safe, though some noise from nearby areas. The dining options were varied, but service could be improved. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.

Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were quiet and well-located in the main lobby building, but they felt dated and needed better housekeeping. On the bright side, the staff did a good job of keeping things clean and filling up the mini bar, though they needed a nudge from a note in Spanish. Dust was a downside during my stay.

Waking up to loud music and a smelly room above the noisy pool wasn't the best experience, but the location was gorgeous with a welcoming staff. Dining was mediocre, providing convenience by the pool. Price could have been better considering the noisy atmosphere late at night.

The hotel had a bit of updates needed, and there was a little humidity in the rooms. However, the hotel smells musty, and the staff were very rude at times.

The hotel rooms were pretty spacious but had some maintenance issues, like a small water leak from the bathroom ceiling. Despite that, the rooms were very clean.
